This is how to pack for a backpacking trip to Europe! Packing like this will work for a 10day trip, or even a 10month trip! Everything should fit in a 40L carryon bag. You can also take a personal item that will serve as your day bag. With this minimal travel setup, it will be really easy to go through airports and to walk from the train stations to your accommodation.
