I took out my kayak and was surprised to find the water had become too dirty where I planned to fish. After making an adjustment, I began to cast around my micro drop shot presentation in a new area. It didn't take long before I was surprised to catch a few big fish on this ultralight rig.

The micro drop shot rig is one of my favorite presentations for ultralight fishing when I want to keep my bait near the bottom. A nice slow drag along the bottom can entice bites from a variety of species. Today, it happened to be some big northern pike :)
