Ulysses S. Grant is best known as the general of the Union Army that brought an end to the Civil War, by getting General Robert E. Lee to surrender. But he also served as a twoterm president, and he wasn't a bad one at that. He has been accused of considerable corruption, but he also did a lot for Reconstruction and to enfranchise AfricanAmericans. Let's learn about what he did, as well as the truth behind his middle initial, which he was not born with!
