Unboxing E-Locomotive E16 05 in 1 gauge

Peter Pernsteiner

The gauge 1 small series brass model of the class E16 from KM1 Modellbau is almost 51 cm long and weighs 4.8 kilograms. The 1 to 32 scale locomotive was realized in eight versions from epochs II to IV. I have borrowed a model of the E16 05 from Era IIb (as it was in 1935) for this report and tried it out extensively. The recommended retail price for this model in Germany is 3115 euros with standard NEM wheelsets.
