Hi. In this video we look at what is meant by Extended Diversion Time Operations, or EDTO. We apply this concept on a twin engine aircraft, where it was initially called as ETOPS.
We see what is the meaning of threshold time and how EDTO has an effect on the flight route. We also look at different terms used in EDTO along with the Aircraft and Operator Requirements.
