Understanding ph. Many think ph determines strength of cleaning. That is not true. Many acids clean. So do many alkaline. Higher alkaline does not mean it cleans better. Take Bio Pro 10k, it is 9.7ph but cleans circles around high ph cleaners without destroying carpet and protectors. Many times, but not always, it means it is low quality and resoils easy. Don't be fooled. The key is knowing which one to use. Hope this helps. Enjoy!
