In this patch I tried to combine some worlds close to me, improvisation, concrete music and electronic music in a journey that starts without an explicit pulse, in an abstract context, and gradually arrives in decidedly rhythmic territory.
The whole is composed of a single take without post production.
The rhythmic parts are written, but interpreted, partly randomly, by algorithms that I have waxed and the same goes for some melodic gestures.
The parts involving samples are handled dynamically and timbrically by envelopes that are semirandomly linked to some rhythmic events.
The whole sets the stage for a performance that can never be repeated twice in the same way.
Here and there I missed a bit of dynamic control, but that's okay too!
