United ERJ-145 Dulles to Roanoke

Follow
Zach Lang

This was the second leg of my trip from Ogdensburg, NY to Roanoke, VA. I was kicking off three weeks of leave from Fort Drum by flying to Virginia first to see a few good buddies of mine! The flight was rather brief with a cruising altitude below the flight levels and the majority of my time in the air being either climb or descent. It was a bit turbulent coming out of Dulles but it made for an awesome ride and the scenery along the way was spectacular, from the cloud formations, the rolling hills of the Appalachians, and the approach into KROA that never fails to amaze me. Also would like to give a shoutout to my buddy JJ, who used his guitar to record the soundtrack for this video during cruise, descent, and approach. Y’all can go check out his channel called “Johnathan James Alger,” where more of his talented music can be found.
