University students teach me about a strange local drink 🇮🇳

Alright, so I wanted to make a quick stop on my way back to my room, but this taxi driver had a different plan.

I understand needing work and business, but I just don't like people following me a couple blocks when I already told them I don't want their service.

Anyways, I got my slides and what I thought was a pretty good deal, but the taxi driver seemed to think other wise.

After separating our ways and a little walking, I decided to quench my thirst with my first Chennai Chai! Sweet and bitter but not like the masala chai in the north. This Chai seems to be heavier on the cream used. Really reminded me of Teh Terik in Malaysia.

Now, I had to do some work at a cafe and decided to show you a nice cafe in Chennai. This place does brownies and sweets just right. I tell you what, there are never a shortage of sweets in India.

Work done and I saw this super hygienic Paan seller so I didn't think I would find a better opportunity to try some paan out than now and for $0.37 why not? Just the right size as it wasn't too big and was just a good ole stall.

I inquired about deep sea fishing, but that quickly got denied with super high prices.

Now, if you have seen my earlier blogs, I am sorry for not using the local language. I finally learned my lesson and studied for a little bit. I gave it my best shot at a little pastry shop and was instantly greeted by smiles and laughs. As I was enjoying my pastry, I meet a group of university students and we talked about everything under the sun. The best part was teaching me Tamil and being able to use it right then and there.
