Unleash The Cleaning Power Of Toilet Bombs! Today I'm going to show you how to make toilet bombs which are bombs that clean your toilet. And I have the best toilet bomb recipe ever!

Baking soda and vinegar are really great cleaners for your toilet bowl especially when used together. Vinegar is responsible for all the foam and extra cleaning power, but it makes other ingredients react. Thicken the vinegar to limit reactions. Use an instant thickener like Crothix (linked below). Mix together 15 milliliters distilled vinegar, 3 milliliters liquid surfactant (I used castile soap), and 3 milliliters [heated] Crothix (follow directions on bottle).

Sieve 1 cup baking soda into bowl. Add 5 milliliters fragrance oil by itself (don't mix it with the vinegar solution as it may compromise the thickener), then add 1215 milliliters of the thickened vinegar solution. Next sieve in the rest of the dry ingredients: 1 cup citric acid, 1 cup soda ash (washing powder), 1/2 cup boric acid (borax), 1/4 cup tartaric acid, and 1/8 cup tetra sodium EDTA. Mix everything thoroughly. The mix feels barely wet and holds together when squeezed.
Citric acid creates fizz (like a normal bath bomb). Soda ash/washing soda removes grease, grime, soap scum, & limescale and reduces pipe blockages. Boric acid is an allnatural cleaner that removes hard water stains, lifts dirt, and freshens the toilet bowl. Tartaric acid removes rust stains & grease and prevents rust buildup. Tetra Sodium EDTA removes rust and makes hard water softer, which improves the effectiveness of other cleaning agents.

Fill both molds, pack them, and sprinkle loose mix on top. Smoosh the 2 sides together tightly (until the molds firmly touch all the way around). Tap both sides with a spoon to release the bomb. Wrap the toilet bombs immediately to avoid warts and to keep the bombs from puffing up.

TO USE: Drop a toilet bomb in the toilet bowl and allow it to dissolve. Rub foam on top ring. Let it sit 20 minutes, then scrub the bowl thoroughly.
