NANO were kind enough to send three of their new CEQ dynamics processor modules to me to play with. CEQ is an analog 3band Equalizer and Compressor module in 4HP, ideal for enhancing your synth voices, adding punch to drums and playing with the DJstyle EQ. The EQ bands on the NANO are fixed, but I found them wellsuited to balancing drums and an oscillator in this hardhitting techno patch.

I explain how CEQ works, what the controls do (it's super simple to use) and then put it to work to balance drums from Erica Synths LXR, feedback from Bastl Dark Matter, and a pumping bassline from Manis Iteratis in this patch. I also experiment with using it in a feedback delay loop from Chronoblob.
