Me and my friends decided to record the whole journey to show you all the ups and downs through the ACL injury recovery process.

Hector Bellerin has today released Unseen Journey, an unprecedented account of the Arsenal vicecaptain’s painstaking rehabilitation from ACL injury.

Told in his own words, he provides inside access to his life, it follows the 25yearold from the inner sanctum of surgical theatres, to his families humble beginnings in Barcelona. The ninepart series will be available on his YouTube & Facebook channels from 13 January 21.

Following Hector over an 18month period, "Unseen Journey", gives viewers a unique insight in to the complex mental, physical and emotional hurdles faced by elitelevel athletes recovering from an injury.Detailing gruelling medical interventions, recovery programmes, and his comeback, including neverbeforeseen footage of the club’s 2019/20 FA Cup triumph. "Unseen Journey" is a candid portrayal of a footballer at their most vulnerable, looking to overcome the pain of a careerthreatening injury.

Along with hearing Hector’s thoughts at every stage of the process, the film features indepth interviews with Arsenal teammates Rob Holding and Kieran Tierney, Hull City’s Jon Toral along with respected surgeon Ramon Cugat.
