I hope this gives you some ideas to try in your training regimen. We’re all trying to get better and are on the same journey. These are some exercises that I do to fill the gaps. The kettlebell is used as an addition to build explosiveness and power.

Examples of sets and reps. You can pair these however you want. Superset with the sandbag or do them after the heavy lifting. I switch this up every week with variation. The important thing is to have press work. I recommend doing reps until failure as well as increasing the weight on the press work

Day 1
3x20 American KBS

5 sets till failure
DB bench
Bicep curls


Day 2
3x20 Russian KBS

Ruck squat 4x15
Ruck step ups 4x30

Day 3
3 sets
SA Russian KBS x12
American KBS x15

5 sets till failure
Sandbag shoulder press
DB SA press
DB extension
