The visioning process is vital because every leader is on a journey to a place he has already pictured in his mind.

The leader guides by creating a new path that others haven’t discovered. Even though it is unknown to his team, it must be visible to the leader through the visioning process.

As the one who takes the lead, the leader must be able to see the future in order to know which direction to take. And the only way a leader can see into this obscure territory is by visioning.

Until you can see where you want to go through the visioning process, don’t try to lead anyone.

Anyone who attempts to lead without passing through the visioning process is like a person who is trying to walk into the dark without a lamp.
