Little Dot Art - Sara Otter

My ‘Tape Technique’ is a funny little technique which I’ve found is abit like Marmite… people either love it or hate it!

But I read this quote once by Alexander Calder once and it’s always stuck with me:

“Above all, Art should be fun”

… and that’s exactly what this style is

To give you a little background, I started painting originally for stress relief and therapy when I suddenly started having seizures 3 months before I was due to graduate from a Physiotherapy degree! My whole life turned upside down as you can imagine. But I believe ‘Everything happens for a reason’ and I couldn’t imagine my life without my art now.

In 2018 I was discovered by a Publisher, Artko Ltd, who supply framed prints of my work to shops throughout the UK. My bestselling pieces are my ‘Love Trees’.

My work is currently in various shops including John Lewis and Dunelm and links to these can be found below…
