On the very, very wet morning of May 2, 2009, Union Pacific 844 emerges from tunnel number 8 and crosses the beautiful North Fork Bridge. This is the point at which the railroad enters the north fork of the Feather River canyon.
Due to a recent derailment and damage to miles of track, there was a 10mph speed restriction on this section.
