This was quickly made (because it's a day or 2 late to upload) to explain to anyone who wasn't notified and has no clue why some features of their Wii no longer work.

wiiconnect24 has been discontinued. The features effected are as follows in this list:

Wii messages sent to friends (attempted to show here)
Mii's sent to friends (attempted to show here)
special games lose bonuses (eg. Metroid Prime 3/ Trilogy, Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded)
Nintendo Channel
Everybody votes channel (attempted to show here)
Mii Contest Channel
Forecast Channel
News Channel
