An urban heat island (UHI) is an urban area that is significantly warmer than its surrounding rural areas due to human activities.
UHI index helps to comprehend the temperature gradient/change among urban spaces where high UHII denotes high temperature gradient or a high UHI effect. UHI analysis is performed to learn about the effects of urban infrastructure or Grey Infrastructure on Local Atmosphere.

In this video, UHI is calculated in ArcGIS raster calculator from LST in the simplest way.
