“Ask not what your operating system can do for you …”

Join the Urbit Foundation executive team for a look back at what the Foundation has accomplished in the past year and what’s in store for 2024.

First up, CTO ~rovnysricfer discusses the main technical objectives for the coming year. Namely, Urbit will become robustly stable, not slow, credibly secure and have no limit to its storage. Initiatives supporting this will begin rolling out as early as the end of 2023.

Then, Deputy Director ~dalwebdonfun outlines the educational and outreach activities of the Foundation over the past year and how these will be expanded and improved in 2024. He also launches Urbit Labs.

Finally, Urbit keeps getting better, but when will it be “good enough”? Executive Director ~wolrefpodlex offers a plan for how the Urbit project can track and communicate technical progress to the community and the world at large.
