PFB description of my Visa Interview and biometric experience with over all itinerary.
Visa Type : L1B + 1D
Role: SDE
Status: Approved.
Stay: ITC Chola for VAC and Taj Connemara [don't go for Taj Connemara as per my personal experience]
VAC on 10th April, 2022
Appointment time 4:30 PM (reached at 3:30 PM let in at 3:45 PM, exit by 4:35 PM)
Documents required:
1 copy of DS160 confirmation page
1 copy of appointment confirmation letter
Passport
Note: No other documents will be required and you may carry your phone here in switched off mode. This will come handy incase you need to book transportation after the process. Auto walas are really hard to negotiate with and generally charge ridiculous charges especially if you don’t speak the local tongue.
CA on 18th April, 2022
Appointment time 9:30 AM (reached at 8:45 AM, let in after 510 mins. Exit at 10:10 AM approx.)

2 copies of first page of I797
2 copies of first 8 pages of I129s
Stamped DS160 (VAC will stamp your DS160)
Passport
Appointment confirmation
DD/Credit Card (Rs. 39K Cash as backup if nothing works) I kept the cash as a backup but fortunately my credit card worked.
Note: Keep the relevant documents mentioned above separate from the other supporting documents (offer letter, support letter, CV, etc.) for a quicker process. Interviewer will most likely NOT ask for any additional documents.

Finally asked us to scan our fingers and provided a slip having details of next steps and visa approval details
Some Points to Note:
Try to be calm throughout the process. Visa interviewers are mostly cool folks who simply want to understand your application better. Besides, you know your specialisation the best and whatever you express is what they have to believe. Also, make sure you speak about the tool(s) you’ve mentioned in your support letter.
Do not take your phone, digital watch, car keys or any electronic items to the CA interview. Simply carry the document folder. There is literally no place to keep your valuables. I booked the hotel cab for 3 hours and kept my phone and laptop inside the cab itself.
Dress comfortably. It’s too hot in Chennai.
