Using a Carlinkit 4.0 to have Android Auto on my Indian Challenger

Update!!: The newest updates from Indian's Ride Command Software have broken the Carlinkit adapters. If you flash the November 2022 or February 2023 update to your Ride Command, the Carlinkit will not work, and will freeze your screen if you try to connect to it. This can be remedied by rolling back to the November 2021 version of Ride Command. Thankfully, this is still hosted on Indian's site, here:

Another solution is to use another CarPlay/Android Auto casting device called an Ottocast U2X Pro, I've posted a video explaining the Ottocast here:

I currently believe the Ottocast U2X Pro is the best Android Auto device for Indians, buy one here:

Using a device called a Carlinkit adapter to have Android Auto in the Indian Ride Command system. Polaris currently does not support Android Auto on their Ride Command system. Thanks to this wireless device, however, it is still possible to use it. Challenger and Pursuit Limiteds have modems in them and support Apple CarPlay.

Because CarPlay and Android Auto are essentially the same technology with different licenses, this clever device that is designed to make Carplay connection wireless can also be used to fool your stereo into thinking the screenshare signal from your Android device is actually a properly connected Apple device. Works like a charm!
