For around $50 bucks an awning can provide much needed shade and maybe even some privacy! Hope this video answers some questions and helps out.
Plastic PVC poles are preferred over metal so the window glass on the vehicle is better protected in the case that the poles fall towards the vehicle in high winds or during set up. The front corner of the tarp is secured to the van with a bungee hook with a piece of rope pulled through.
