Using Bayes Theorem through Tree Diagrams

Follow
MathBootcamps

To find some types of conditional probabilities, we need to use Bayes theorem. This theorem has a complex formula, but it is possible to simply use a tree diagram in its place. In this video, I go through an example of how this works and show how to calculate the final answer on a TI83 or TI84 calculator.

Note: This video is from a course I am teaching through my college but I share it in case others find it helpful! Any section numbers mentioned match up with the textbook "Business Statistics 8th edition Groebner".
