The inspiration for this piece came from Lel watching videos on youtube of people who journal. Ladies who use layer upon layer, stamps, stencils, and anything else they want to create textured layers producing artwork in the process. As the furniture artist, she is Lel was inspired by this and this project is her interpretation of this journaling style. A complex blended, layered, stamped, sprayed, and many other mediums approach including making her own transfers using tracing paper and stamps which she then paints to be able to go around edges and corners and finding a way to use all of the leftover scraps from so many IOD inlays and transfers. Buckle up, grab a coffee and some snacks and watch right to the end of this one. It's worth every minute. It's Modern Art.
