Reading speeds are not discussed enough in the online reading sphere.

There are many misconceptions surrounding the idea of fast versus slow reading, but here I shed a different light on them.

Slow reading is not always effective, and fast reading is not always detrimental to proper reading. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

But how can we use them to our advantage?

It relies on being able to know when and where each reading speed is appropriate.
