USS Dwight D Eisenhower returned to her home port having spent nine months at sea providing support to maritime security operations.

During the aircraft carrier's deployment she helped fight off numerous drone and missile attacks by Houthi rebels in Yemen.

It was an emotional reunion for the ship's crew and their families.
