This animation shows a water test on an underground storage tank (UST) at a gas station. A penetration fitting on the Buffhide Buffalo Tank sump fails the water test . A screw punctures a product (gas) line that was located too close to the sumps causing a product line leak.

The USTs are in a proper leakproof excavation liner which contain the leak. Trial Exhibits, Inc. was hired on this case to demonstrate the multiple updates to the gas station and different scenarios that would help prevent a gasoline leak with Methyl tertbutyl ether (MTBE), a gasoline additive, getting into the groundwater.
