Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones) are easy to use, inexpensive, and are revolutionizing spatial data collection and geographic analysis, with new technologies shaping the future of mapping, flight path planning, field operations, image analysis, 3D model construction, and more.

The University of Vermont is pleased to offer a rigorous 3day course on the use of Drones for geospatial analysis, providing participants with an immersive introduction to the field, with both classroom and field site components designed to teach students both how to operate drones to collect data and how to turn drone photos into information that can be used for a variety of applications.
