Sights from our second day in Valle Vidal The Valley of Life! Valle Vidal is a 102,000 acre wildlife paradise. Its forests and vast alpine meadows provide habitat for the largest elk herd in New Mexico; containing approximately 2,000 elk.
We see lots of wildlife! ...and visit Comanche Point, see lots of Rio Costilla, take in the breathtaking views of the large valley from the corrals and enjoy a magnificent sunset.
