Learn in six quick steps how to fix Low Client FPS and avoid FPS Drops in VALORANT.

In the first step, you will disable high CPU usage effects in VALORANT.
First, open VALORANT Settings.
Now, select the “General” tab.
And then, scroll down and disable “Show Corpses”, “Show Blood” and “Show Bullet Tracers”.

In the second step, you will change the Windows power plan.
First, press “Windows” and “R” on the desktop.
In the “Open” field, type “powercfg.cpl” and click on “OK”.
And lastly, just select Windows High Performance Power Plan or CPU High Performance Power Plan if available.

In the third step, you will set VALORANT as high priority process.
First, download the “High Priority Valorant” file using the link in the description below.
After that, unzip the file on the desktop using “WinRAR”.
Now, rightclick on the “High Priority” file, click on “Show More Options” and then “Merge”.
And lastly, click on “Yes” and “OK”.

In the fourth step, you will enable Windows game mode.
First, search for “Game Mode” and click on “Game Mode Settings”.
And then, enable Game Mode.

In the fifth step, you will disable fullscreen optimizations in VALORANT.
First, open the VALORANT installation folder.
After that, navigate to “ShooterGame”, “Binaries” and “Win64”.
Now, rightclick on “ValorantWin64Shipping” and click on “Properties”.
Then, select “Compatibility” and check “Disable Fullscreen Optimizations”.
And lastly, click on “Apply” and “OK”.

In the sixth step, you will enable high performance graphics in VALORANT.
First, search for “Graphics” and click on “Graphics Settings”.
Under “Search This List”, type “VALORANT”.
Now, click on “VALORANT” and click on “Options”.
And then, select “High Performance” and click on “Save”.
