When the puck dropped for Game 7 of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, Vancouver was ready to celebrate their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.

Instead, as the Canucks limped through the biggest game in franchise history, that massive crowd descended into violence: spurred by the Canucks’ gutting Game 7 loss, a fullon riot erupted in Vancouver, the city’s second Stanley Cup riot in a 17year span and one of the most disgraceful moments in NHL history.
