RV12 is a special plane. RV12 is the first Van’s factory built plane so you can buy it prebuild or get a kit and build it by yourself. It's an experimental plane while also able to fall in the light sport category (depending on the build). It's also a great training airplane because it is easy to learn. You can get all the way up to commercial license with an RV12.
It is very economical to own and fly burning only 35 gal of fuel. RV12 has special features like removable wings and flaperons.
