Ventura on Unsupported Macs [2012-2016] OpenCore Legacy Patcher!!!

Follow
Mr. Macintosh

You can Install macOS Ventura on Unsupported Macs from 20122016! I'll show you stepbystep how to use OpenCore Legacy Patcher to install macOS Ventura on your old Mac! CHAPTERS & UPDATES BELOW

UPDATES 10/17/23:
1. PLEASE USE MY NEW UPDATED OCLP Ventura Video! =    • How to Install Ventura on Unsupported...
2. Current version of Ventura is 13.6.1
3. Current version of OpenCore Legacy Patcher is 1.0.1
4. Upgrading to Ventura from Big Sur or Monterey via System Preferences is NOT supported, use the USB installer method to upgrade
5. SMALLER UPDATES: The old trick of reverting the root patches with Ventura to get a smaller delta update i.e 13.0.1 or 13.1 is no longer supported. The changes in Ventura require the 11GB full update. If you updated with the delta, don't worry this is to prevent "preparing" or update issues in the future

DISCLAIMER: Please understand that installing macOS Ventura on your unsupported Mac is a best effort by the community. A ton of work went into getting the patcher to work! Some things might not work exactly right but it's really really close. I would not recommend installing on a system that you rely on for work or school. ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES FIRST BEFORE YOU UPGRADE! The good news is that you are getting the latest security fixes from Apple. Some might argue that upgrading to Patched Ventura makes your Mac safer since Apple is no longer fixing security issues on 10.15 and below.
