NASA's Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center ( LP DAAC) and the Harmonized Landsat Sentinel2 (HLS) Science Team are pleased to announce the release of HLS version 2.0 surface reflectance products. HLS data are composed of observations from Landsat 8 and Sentinel2 and provide a set of seamless data products that can be utilized as if all observations were obtained from a single sensor, providing a global observation of the land every 23 days at 30meter spatial resolution. This is beneficial for observing changes on the Earth’s surface over a short period of time. The LP DAAC is one of the NASA Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) DAACs and operates as a partnership with the United States Geological Survey (USGS). It is located at the USGS Earth Resources Observation and Science (EROS) Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The LP DAAC ingests, archives, processes and distributes NASA Earth science land processes data and information.
