Low level thermal training with the Vertigo.

No music for all the haters :)

The Vertigo is an all new model from GCM, makers of the Fireblade F3K.

I won't be giving much detail in this video. This is a teaser vid. The model has a 4m span and features the latest construction techniques. It breaks down into a compact package for ease of transport. Fit and finish are second to none. More details in the coming weeks.

The model in this video is a "pre production" test model. Only 3 of these models have flown at the time of filming this and this is the only one in the USA.

The Vertigo has been in development for several years and has gone through considerable prototyping and testing. Several sets of disposable molds have been made to test various design aspects. For example, 3 iterations of the fuselage and 2 types of wing designs.

With the testing stage complete and production molds finished attention is now turned to optimizing construction methods and layups.

Nothing about this model was rushed.

The Vertigo is a "Next Generation" F5J model, designed from the ground up specifically for F5J. Of course it is "Uber" light and will be available in several layup options, light, stiff, etc...
