It's been said that good 'ol humble VHS HiFi can produce audio quality rivaling digital or CD and even better than reel to reel. I don't know if I buy that or not. Sounds like a challenge to me! In this video, we'll explore VHS HiFI and what makes it different from other audio tape formats. I'll break out my classic JVC SVHS editing deck and we'll record some music and compare it to digital. Will we be impressed? Time will tell.
