Victor Safe Restoration - Part 5: Broken Cast Iron Repair
In this video I repair the final caster from my Victor safe that had the broken (and missing) part. A new piece of metal was cut out of some cast iron stock to match the part that was broken and then brazed in place. I then reinforced the part with a scab that was mechanically attached to both sides of the break and that too was brazed in place.
