The Victorinox Rescue Tool was originally advertised for rescue professionals, and is a tool designed for vehicle extrication. It includes a strap cutter which can be used for cutting seat belts, as well as a glass breaker and a unique glass saw intended for laminated glass. At $107 currently in the United States Victorinox website, it is a bit of an investment. Is it the right tool for you? I'll discuss its use for rescue professionals as well as people without a rescue background who want to carry it in their car, and compare it with some alternatives.
