On Thursday the 18th of August 2016, Australia marked the 50th anniversary of the battle of Long Tan. It was the most costly battle for Australia during the Vietnam War with 18 killed and 24 wounded. Next we travel back to find out what the Vietnam War was all about and how it changed Australia.
