This summer Vila Nova de Cerveira is celebrating the 700th anniversary of its first charter passed by D.Dinis, and organized an event with the participation of merchants, in which. the streets were decorated with crochet mesh, and some of the most important figures from medieval times. Furthermore, the surroundings of Vila Nova de Cerveira are very attractive due to the contrast between the heights of Serra da Gávea and the valley of the river Minho. I filmed the various viewpoints and an old Franciscan convent in the middle of the mountains. A stroll through the streets and park complete this summer visit to this border town, without forgetting the outline of its ancient bastioned wall, of which only a few traces remain.
