Villa Savoye
Le Corbusier 1929
Paradigm of modern architecture, Villa Savoye, built in 1929 by the French Swiss architect Charles Edouard Jeanneret: Le Corbusier, in Poissy an small town near Paris.
In this work the architect exposes a set of terms that constitute its own formal language, and to some extent, the formal language of modern architecture.
Through its practical and theoretical work, Le Corbusier shows us a model to create a new architecture; where beauty is supported by the practicality and functionality, whose inspiration comes from the development of machinery and the use of new building materials such as concrete and steel
