Trevões one of the 6 Vineyards Villages in the Douro region. It is located in the municipality of S.João da Pesqueira. Trevões is located between the valleys of the River Távora and the River Torto. In this village we find some medieval structures, such as the parish church and the Santo António fountain, as well as an interesting group of manor houses and chapels from the modern period, including Casa Caiado Ferrão and the manor of Bishop Manuel de Vasconcelos. Pereira. The built heritage of Trevões is the result of tastes, styles and times, in which there was renewed prosperity in the 17th and 18th centuries, although with roots in previous centuries.
