1991 Sparkomatic Bass Cannon STW800 100W Max Amplified Subwoofer
Back in the 1990's the Sparkomatic Bass Cannon was likely the most common car subwoofer available at auto parts and big box stores. Capitalizing on the popularity of the SAS Bazooka Subwoofer Tubes, the Sparkomatic Bass Cannon stood out with it's crazy cool graphics and low, low price of $89. It also promised a MAX power output of 100 watts. Now we know what this means, but how many people didn't and fell for the trap? Also, was it really that bad? I was super curious and had to get one to find out.
(Note: the woofer has a coated paper cone, not poly as I stated in the video)
