B&O in Cleveland and Ravenna Ohio, c.195862. Steam switching at the Cleveland W. 3rd St. Yard.
The wreck was in Ravenna, Ohio and it was caused by a freight that had derailed going 40MPH. Eastbound. No. 17 came along at 55 MPH. E7s 1432 leading and 1445 trailing. Hit derailed Extra 4511 East freight fouling Track One. 16 people injured. Caused by broken spring plank on gondola B&O 352318. Anyone know what the name of the Pullman car was? Didn't get it on film! Filmed by my father 5/26/62.
