This vintage binoculars probably served In the World War 1, they were in pretty good condition considering they have near 100 years. I WILL GIVE THEM A NEW LIFE FOR TIMES OF PEACE !! meaning I will repair and restore not to original black leather (so not to shine in the combat field). On the other hand I will polish the brass so to shine and the leather color will be a perfect match. I had a hard time removing the original coated paint which demonstrated to be very durable, I have to use electrolysis to remove it without using abrasive methods that would have scuffed the delicate brass.
