VISION FOTOGRAFICA DE LA PAZ BOLIVIA
Guillermo Ruiz Arellano is a Bolivian photographer and cinematographer.
He born in 1952. Since very young he started working with his father, a very known Bolivian filmmaker, Jorge Ruiz, Guillermo Ruiz is an award winner as photographer and director of photography.
Awards:
Gold medal in 1992 in the Alejandrino Perez Competition and he also won the 10th Annual Fargo film festival 2010 North Dakota U.S.A. ,
*In Brisbane international film festival 2010 in Australia for Best Cinematography for the film "El Regalo de la Pachamama" directed by Toshifumi Matsushita
Silver Apple Award for the "Hablemos en Pareja" film in the National Educational Media Network California Documentary Festival.
He was the cinematographer in "Killa" , a Colibri Award film in Ecuador, directed by Alberto Muenala.
Cultural Prize Cinebol in Bolivia.

He also was part of the Jury in the 14 th Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in Czech Republic
He worked in around 80 documentary films in Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Holland and South Corea and in 4 feature films, including "Para recibir el canto de los pajaros" directed by Jorge Sanjines (Bolivia).
