Today we are not spending the day at my allotment in Gwent. But going across the valley to Tony O'Neill's place at Simplify Gardening. Tony needs no introduction as he is a renowned gardening youtuber and has been on youtube since it started and has gained a massive following of subscribers. Tony is known for this genius ideas and growing potatoes in 30 litre buckets. Tony needed help building a fruit cage. Of course I jumped at the chance. I love some DIY! We built the huge fruit cage & then he gave me a tour of his massive allotment apace. Tony has 2 big polytunnels , fruit areas, a nature pond, impressive compost area and loads more growing areas. He has fig, peach and apricot trees in the one polytunnel..Tony gave me some loganberry bushes, some artichokes & rudolph potatoes for this season. cant wait to try those out. Thank you Tony!
