VN24 23052023 (D/M/Y) Unna / Germany The rescuers of the fire department had to go out around 11:10 o'clock to an accident in the highway intersection Unna East. There an ambulance car had laid down on its side. All three occupants, driver, passenger and one patient, were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries. The accident occurred when the driver, coming from Unna, was driving southbound on the B233 federal highway and wanted to change at the interchange through the traffic circle to the A44 freeway heading east toward Kassel. In the process, the ambulance, which was only one year young, was carried slightly out of the curve. The left front wheel got behind a guard rail rising from the ground, on which the entire vehicle pushed up. Subsequently, the vehicle flipped onto its left side and slid to its final position. A recovery contractor had to partially dismantle the guardrails in order to be able to recover the van.
