Volkswagen Passat B9 appeared in 2024 on the market in Poland, exclusively in station wagon body. Its dimensions, by the way, increased, so that we can talk about a new flagship model of this manufacturer. To check how the 9th generation Passat handles, I spent a few days with it and drove several hundred kilometers in the process. I was able to prepare a video test about a richly equipped copy in the Elegance version. It had a 2.0 TDI 150 hp diesel under the hood, mated to a DSG automatic transmission. It's a very interesting engine for a large station wagon, and in the review I discuss what kind of fuel consumption you get in it in the city and on the road, including expressways and highways. I also discuss the culture of the diesel unit, its flexibility, as well as the dynamics of the 2.0 TDI 150 hp, recording, for example, the 0100 km/h acceleration. The new Volkswagen Passat B9 2024 also introduces quite a few changes when it comes to handling, with a large screen in the middle. I'll assess whether these are modifications that go in the right direction. The test unit of the 9thgeneration Passat was equipped with matrix LED IQ Lights, and in the night footage I show how they perform in adaptive mode. My review also touches on the build quality, the spaciousness of the rear bench seat, or the capacity of the trunk of the Volkswagen Passat 2024. I put all my opinions about this model in the test.
