This review focuses on the 170TDI V6 diesel 4Motion fiveseat version of the Touareg, but there's also a couple of other really compelling diesel models covered here, including the 210TDI Elegance and the 210TDI RLine.

But the base model is now WAY better value than before, with heaps of new standard equipment, and as with the predecessor, it can tow up to 3.5 tonnes.

Can you get over the fact it's this much money but does wear a luxury badge like a Lexus, Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo or Genesis?
